Tiaki Life began with a simple question: Why should something as beautiful as growing plants come at the cost of harming the planet?

Born in Aotearoa New Zealand, we design biodegradable plant pots made from natural rice hulls — crafted for people who care deeply about what they grow and how they grow it. Every pot is a gentle alternative to plastic: strong enough to last, kind enough to return to the earth, and beautiful enough to gift with pride.

“Tiaki” comes from te reo Māori — it means to care, to protect, to nurture. That’s what we stand for in every part of our work. As a family business, we’re not here to mass-produce. We’re here to make meaningful change — in gardens, in homes, and in the way we treat our world.
